The below quantities serve around 4 people (as a side-dish).
Ingredients:
- 250g red cabbage, shredded
- 1/2 brown onion, diced
- 1 small granny smith apple, peeled, cored and chopped
- 4 pickled walnuts, chopped very finely
- 1/2 cup pickled walnut liquid from the jar
Method:
- Pre-heat the oven to 130 degrees Celsius.
- Sauté onion in a pan until softened, then transfer to a medium casserole dish with a lid.
- Add all other ingredients to the casserole dish and stir to combine.
- Cover and cook for an hour.
- Check and stir halfway through cooking time, adding more liquid if too dry.
