We were thrilled recently when our pickled walnuts won a gold medal at the 2023 Royal Tasmanian Fine Food Awards, with the judges noting the product is a “standout example of Tassie excellence”. We even managed to back it up with a silver medal at the 2023 Sydney Royal Fine Food Awards.
It’s an involved process to make our pickled walnuts: over 10 days they are hand-picked, brined, dried and then finally cooked in the spiced and slightly sweetened apple cider vinegar pickling liquid.
So it’s extra special for us when the product gets the judges’ seal of approval … and we hope it gets your seal of approval too!
