Recipe: Two-Ingredient Pickled Walnut Ketchup

A delicious and easy to make condiment perfect for something a bit different on a special occasion, or even just to serve alongside a tasty snack (think homemade potato chips… yum).

Ingredients:

  • 100g of pickled walnuts
  • 50ml of pickling vinegar
  • 30g of brown sugar

Method:

  1. Warm the walnut pickling vinegar with the sugar in a small saucepan until sugar is completely dissolved. Allow to cool slightly.
  2. Place the pickled walnuts in a blender with the vinegar and sugar mixture. Blitz until smooth.
  3. Once smooth, pass through a fine sieve to remove any small bits.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool, place in an airtight container or squeezy bottle and serve immediately or store in the fridge.
