More Medals for Coaldale Pickled Walnuts

We were very please to receive a silver medal at the Hobart Fine food Awards last month and then a bronze medal at the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show earlier this month. These are now added to our two gold medals from Hobart in 2012 and 2014. We have our pickled walnuts being distributed in Queensland by Fino Foods and we are discussing distribution with another distributor on Victoria. We have a supply of product which will last for the next 2 months and then we start pickling again in December for release in February. We expect to be significantly increasing production again in the new season.

We have been attending the Hobart Farm Gate Market since July with great success but we will cease attending after next weekend (27/9/15) because our fresh in-shell supply is nearly exhausted and we will only have pickled walnuts and vacuum packs of kernel for the wholesale market for another month or so.

Our activities are now shifting to the spring orchard program as growth takes off. We will focus on this for the next 2 months and hope to avoid any late frosts and walnut blight.
