We just received advice we won a Bronze last weekend! We are very pleased with this.
We had entered our vacuum sealed hand-cracked kernel also but the judges withdrew our entry after deciding that by “value adding” (a pre-condition for entry of all products) they really meant cooked or otherwise changed, not adding value to a natural product! C’est la vie! We’ll enter them in the 2014 Hobart Fine Food Fair and see how we go next year! (We did enter our products this year but through an unfortunate mix-up they did not reach the judges whiLe we were away.)
