We were honoured to be asked to present our products at the reception for the Heads of Missions at Government in the evening of Friday 29th of April. There were 80 ambassadors and heads of mission attending with their wives as guests of the Governor, Prof Kate Warner, and Ms Julie Bishop, Minister for Foreign Affairs. We were part of a group of 10 local producers, including Woodbridge Smokehouse, Littlewood Berry Farm, Rannoch Quail, The Agrarian Kitchen, Hellyers Road Distillery, Bream Creek Vineyard, Wellington Apiary, Vermey’s Quality Meats and Lauriston Grove. We had a great time talking with the international guests, some of whom were very knowledgeable about walnuts (e.g., the Turkish Ambassador and Greek Consul) and others from places where walnuts are unheard of.
